Spring is definitely here, and for a photographer, that means a double shot of business: Weddings and portraits.  Families everywhere are booking sessions to get their spring portraits done, and photographers everywhere are happy to oblige.  One particular portrait session that occurs in the spring sometimes gets overlooked, and that is the session for graduation photos.  Any photographer in Tuscaloosa knows the market for these sessions, and I was lucky enough to have one this past Saturday.  Sarah Rice, a senior majoring in elementary education, had me photographer her graduation photos.

The photos were taken on the campus of The University of Alabama on a warm Saturday morning.  We were absolutely blessed with fantastic weather and plenty of sunlight for the shoot.  Sarah is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and it was important to her to  incorporate that affiliation into the shoot.  After shooting at The Walk of Champions, The President’s Mansion, Denny Chimes, and Gorgas Library, we ended the session at the Delta Sigma Theta House.
